Apply today!&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>What You will Receive as a CNC Machinist I:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Pay: &nbsp;$28.20+ (Depending on Experience)</li><li>Day Shift: Monday - Thursday (5 am - 3:30 pm)</li><li>Direct Hire</li><li>Located in Newberg, Oregon</li></ul><div>What You will Be Doing as a CNC Machinist I:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Operates multiple machines, including manual lathes and mills, CNC lathes and mills, machining centers, and Automatic Lathes in assigned area with limited supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Set up, operate, and troubleshoot various manual and CNC machines, secondary machinery, and polishing equipment.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning.</li><li>Safely and efficiently routes parts using material handling equipment.</li><li>Inspects personal production, to achieve and maintain quality standards and may make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Actively engages and participates in department continuous improvement efforts. Implements improvements to processes, programs, tooling, and fixturing.</li><li>Works collaboratively within the team to maintain a neat and organized work station.</li><li>Achieves and maintains productivity standards, follows all safety guidelines, and maintains acceptable dependability level.</li><li>Understands and completes documentation needed to comply with policies and procedures that are appropriate for the position</li><li>Follows safety guidelines, must not pose a risk to self or others, identifies potential safety hazards and initiates corrective action when necessary.</li><li>Actively participates in all department, quarterly, and company meetings.</li><li>Other duties as assigned (refer to the job family and skills matrix).</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>What You will Need to Have as a CNC Machinist: I</div><div>&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Generally requires a 3-5 years machinist experience and knowledge of developing methods to machine first-run prototypes, set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of multiple CNC machining centers, Automatic Lathes, and manual mills and lathes, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li><li>Previous experience in setting up and operating Fadal and Mori Seiki is a plus</li><li>Must have experience working with Stainless Steel materials&nbsp;</li><li><div>Ability to interpret blueprints with a working knowledge of GD&T</div></li><li>Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity</li><li><div>Knowledge of ISO procedures.</div></li><li><div>Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.</div></li><li><div>Ability to perform math calculations with an understanding of decimal/fraction equivalence, geometry, and trigonometry.</div></li><li>Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.</li><li>Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift.</li><li><div>Knowledge of all tooling and material types used during production, including uncommon and&nbsp;unconventional tools, with the ability to alter tools to achieve desired results.</div></li><li><div>Moderate computer skills and ability to learn and understand ERP systems</div></li><li><div>Demonstrates behaviors and attitudes that emphasize and focus on permanent resolutions to problems and collaboratively work with other employees within work group to achieve goals</div></li><li>Some areas may be exposed to chemicals, noise, vibration, and/or dust, requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, foot protection, etc.</li><li>Ability to wear respiratory protection and comply with OSHAâs respirator use requirements.</li><li>Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Subscribe, Follow, Like, Tweet Us!&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><img width="52" src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/compas-cdn/1226/images/editor/a669efa787d24294aa140e1f11da860c.jpg" alt="A picture containing text, clipart Description automatically generated"> <img width="55" src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/compas-cdn/1226/images/editor/8e31ec0bf38145268abb48f33ea3cdba.jpg" alt="Icon Description automatically generated"> <img width="52" src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/compas-cdn/1226/images/editor/35f056e45b3049fdb76ae45895e37f76.jpg" alt="Logo, icon Description automatically generated"> <img width="53" src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/compas-cdn/1226/images/editor/ad61b0dd2c1a46d09cb100f81f37337d.jpg" alt="Logo, icon Description automatically generated"></div><div>#nextaffpdx</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
