            <description><![CDATA[<div>Position Description: Traveling Superintendent â CSA (Mission-Critical Construction)</div><div>Position Title</div><div>Traveling Superintendent â Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA)</div><div>Location</div><div>Headquartered in Houston<br>&nbsp;Travel required nationwide (project-based assignments)</div><div>Position Summary</div><div>The Traveling Superintendent â CSA is responsible for the on-site execution, coordination, and supervision of all civil, structural, and architectural scopes&nbsp;on mission-critical and data center construction projects.</div><div>This role is a field leadership position&nbsp;accountable for:</div><ul type="disc"><li>Driving schedule performance</li><li>Enforcing safety and quality standards</li><li>Managing subcontractors and field labor</li><li>Coordinating with project management and client teams</li></ul><div>The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction experience&nbsp;and has successfully led projects with 20â50+ subcontractor personnel onsite, preferably within mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial environments.</div><div>Key Responsibilities</div><div>1. Field Leadership & Execution</div><ul type="disc"><li>Lead day-to-day field operations for CSA scopes across assigned projects</li><li>Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and vendors (20â50+ personnel typical)</li><li>Maintain tight control of schedule, sequencing, and work flow</li><li>Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>2. Mission-Critical Schedule Management</div><ul type="disc"><li>Execute work in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments&nbsp;(data centers / critical facilities)</li><li>Identify and mitigate schedule risks early</li><li>Coordinate closely with MEP trades to avoid conflicts and delays</li><li>Support pull planning and short-interval scheduling (2â6 week lookaheads)</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>3. Safety Leadership</div><ul type="disc"><li>Enforce strict compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies</li><li>Conduct daily safety meetings, site walks, and hazard analysis</li><li>Maintain a zero-incident safety culture</li><li>Ensure all subcontractors adhere to project-specific safety requirements</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>4. Quality Control & Inspections</div><ul type="disc"><li>Ensure all work meets project quality standards and tolerances</li><li>Coordinate inspections, testing, and third-party QA/QC requirements</li><li>Maintain punch list tracking and drive timely closeout</li><li>Identify and correct deficiencies proactively</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>5. Subcontractor Management</div><ul type="disc"><li>Direct and manage subcontractors to ensure:<ul type="circle"><li>Productivity targets are met</li><li>Workforce is adequate and properly staffed</li><li>Work is aligned with schedule and sequencing</li></ul></li><li>Hold subcontractors accountable for performance and compliance</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>6. Coordination & Communication</div><ul type="disc"><li>Serve as the primary field point of contact&nbsp;between:<ul type="circle"><li>Project Managers</li><li>Engineers and design teams</li><li>Client representatives</li><li>Inspectors and AHJs</li></ul></li><li>Participate in weekly coordination meetings and reporting</li><li>Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>7. Logistics & Site Management</div><ul type="disc"><li>Plan and manage site logistics including:<ul type="circle"><li>Deliveries and material handling</li><li>Equipment staging</li><li>Site access and laydown areas</li></ul></li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient jobsite</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div>8.
