What You will Receive as a Welder:
- Pay: $18.00-$28.00 /hr (depending on experience)
- Medical, Dental, Vision available
- Shift: DAY: 5:00AM – 3:30 PM | Mon - Friday (50 hours a week) * Open to OT
- Contract-to-hire
- Located in Hillsboro, Oregon
- Paid weekly (every Friday)
What You will Be Doing as a Welder:
- Utilize welding skills to fabricate and weld heavy steel pieces
- Interpret welding blueprints and perform layout for welding and fitting operations
- Safely and efficiently use various hand and power tools
- Safely and efficiently use various welders and cutting tools
- Weld wire feed in any and all positions
- Work may require long periods of standing, sitting in awkward positions, bending over and crouching
- Self-motivated and the ability to work with a group or individually with minimal supervision
- Operate a forklift. Complete safety and forklift training class as scheduled by the company
What You will Need to Have as a Welder:
- Must have at least 1 year experience in Welding
- Solid experience in MIG Welding, Flux core and Dual Shield is a plus
- Must be able to pass a weld test (welding one inch plate in the vertical position using flux core, dual shield)
- Meet physical requirements of the job as defined above
- Possess mechanical abilities and aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a forklift (preferred but not required)
- Must be able to pass a Drug test (THC included) and Background check
Note: For the Weld Test, all candidates must bring welding hood, welding jacket, steel toed boots, and measuring tools.
