What You will Receive as a MIG Welder:
- Pay: $18.00-$28.00 /hr (depending on experience)
- Contract-to-hire | Direct Hire
- Location - Hillsboro, Oregon
- Hours – Mon to Friday l 5:00AM – 3:30 PM | Open to OT
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- Paid weekly (every Friday)
What You will Be Doing as a MIG Welder:
- Coping beams, Mig, Tig, Stick, CJP for more senior, and more Jr. to mid-level welders are items such as Weld Symbols, etc.
- Utilize welding skills to fabricate and weld heavy steel pieces
- Ability to interpret welding blueprints and perform layout for welding and fitting operations
- Safely and efficiently use various hand and power tools
- Safely and efficiently use various welders and cutting tools
- Ability to weld wire feed in any and all positions
- Possess mechanical abilities and aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work may require long periods of standing, sitting in awkward positions, bending over and crouching
- Self-motivated and the ability to work with a group or individually with minimal supervision
- Operate a forklift (Will Train)
What You will Need to Have as a MIG Welder:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Pass company welding skill test given at time of application
- Pass weld test, welding one inch plate in the vertical position using flux core, dual shield
- Meet physical requirements of the job as defined above
- Complete safety and forklift training class as scheduled by the company
- Passing a Drug test (THC included) and Background check
