Nextaff is looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our animal care team at a family-owned veterinary practice in Kansas City, MO. In this administrative role, you check-in our animal patients, update their records and owner information, schedule appointments, process payments. If you enjoy working with animals, you would be a great candidate for this role!
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am to 6pm and rotating Saturdays
Veterinary Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
· Check-in animal patients
· Gather and certify pet and owner information
· Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions
· Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Veterinary Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Excellent Customer service skills
· Basic math skills and computer literacy
· Comfortable working with animals
