Position Overview: As a Staffing Specialist at Nextaff of Overland Park, you will play a vital role in matching qualified candidates with our esteemed clients. You'll be at the forefront of our operations, managing the recruitment process, cultivating relationships, and ensuring seamless placements.

Key Results Areas:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, and suitability for various roles in light industrial, clerical, and professional sectors.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline through networking, referrals, job postings, and other sourcing methods.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, perform background checks and drug screens, and facilitate pre-employment assessments as needed.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide ongoing support to both clients and candidates, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in staffing and recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strongly Preferred: Previous experience in staffing, recruitment, or HR.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
