SOUTHBOUND OPERATION SUPERVISOR!
What you'll be doing
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Laredo Southbound Operations team, including Team Leaders.
  • Coordinate documentation handling and clearance processes, ensuring MX Regulations compliance.
  • Provide high-level customer service.
  • Assist Account Manager in supervising Southbound Customer Service Representatives.
  • Prepare customs and internal legal documents.
  • Aid in tariff classification and research.
  • Maintain client database.
  • Ensure employee training and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Service clients, support sales, and assist in staff scheduling.
  • Manage day-to-day customs operations for efficiency.
  • Develop procedures for facility utilization.
  • Monitor yard and equipment inspections.
  • Ensure timely billing and liaise with business partners.
  • Manage MX customs clearance partners and drayage companies.
  • Provide after-hours support as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree/diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Knowledge/experience in Annex 24 and IMMEX program.
  • Familiarity with Glosa, DODA, Customs Declarations.
  • Working knowledge of Mexican customs software.
  • Understanding of Mexican Customs regulations.
  • Understanding of US customs regulations (an asset).
What expertise and qualifications can you offer?
  • Over 3 years of demonstrated proficiency in customs, compliance, international trade, logistics, and shipping.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, essential for effective bilingual communication.
  • Possession of a valid passport and willingness to travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
