Job Purpose:

Work with Maintenance, Operations, and Projects to ensure any scaffolds, insulation, and steam tracing needs are met by communicating with scaffold coordinator. Work's with other crews, companies or individuals to ensure scaffolds, insulation, and tracing is installed per Silver Eagles Refining standards.

Principle Accountabilities:

Ensure that all Scaffold needs of the refinery are met. This may include building or erecting scaffold, to Silver Eagle needs and contractors of SER. Inspecting existing scaffold or modifying existing scaffold.
Installs insulation and tracing to exceed Silver Eagle Refining needs and standards, installing, reparing or modifying tracing and insulation as needed.

Key Challenges:

Works with a crew or companies to build or erect scaffolding as needed by the refinery.
Inspecting existing scaffold as needed.
Make modification to existing scaffolding installation with the certification that have been obtained.
Maintain scaffolding certifications.
Install insulation, tracing and insulation blankets
Insure the proper insulation, tracing or insulation blankets are installed.
Being involved and knowledgeable of Silver Eagle Refining's needs and standards for all insulation and tracing for each refining unit or area.
Assist in general maintenance as requested.

Job Skills & Requirements Will Include But Are Not Limited To:

Qualified at building and inspecting scaffold and installing insulation.
Required education: High school diploma or GED; on-the-job training
Experience of 1 year or greater having worked in a scaffold building environment if preferred
In possession of a valid state driver's license; CDL preferred
Forklift experience strongly preferred; be able to conduct general forklift maintenance and reporting maintenance necessities
