Job Purpose:

Work with Maintenance, Operations and Projects to ensure any rotating equipment has and is repaired for reliability of running. Helps to insure the right equipment is being used in the services. Work’s with other crews, companies or individuals to ensure equipment is repaired and or running for long term reliability, decision and all repairs are meet to Silver Eagles Refining standards.

Principle Accountabilities:

Ensure that all equipment needs of the refinery’s are met. This may include tear down, repair, rework to Silver Eagle needs, Inspecting equipment and modifying equipment as needed
Ensures that the repairs performed or PM work has been completed allowing for equipment to be reliable.

Key Challenges:

Disassembles and inspects rotating equipment to determine repair requirements, this includes repairs on Compressors, Vertical in-line pumps, horizontal pumps, Multistage, gear boxes and right angle drives.
Completes the inspection reports determine replacement components vs scrape components.
Use various range of tools from pneumatic, hand, welding and electrical.
Trouble shuts and reworks components to ensure proper functioning of rotating equipment.
Performs routine maintenances on equipment driven on PM work schedule.
Can complete and fill out necessary paper work after task have been completed
Insures equipment is functioning to perform long term usage and reliability
Can solve a problem on equipment getting to the root cause of failure
Assist in general maintenance as requested

Job Skills & Requirements Will Include But Are Not Limited To:

Qualified at repair/ rebuild of rotating equipment
Required Education: High school diploma or GED; on-the-job training
Experience of 5 years or better is preferred
In possession of a valid state driver’s license
Forklift experience strongly preferred; be able to conduct general forklift maintenance and reporting maintenance necessities
