Dietitian Responsibilities:
As a Dietitian at Nextaff, you'll play a crucial role in advising clinical personnel on special nutritional needs within the scope of practice for a Registered Dietitian in the State of California.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning dietary interventions and strategies
- Attending interdisciplinary team conferences
- Monitoring and documenting nutritional needs and goals
- Accepting or transmitting orders from physicians to implement medical nutrition therapy
- Ordering medical laboratory tests related to medical nutrition therapy
- Planning regular and special therapeutic diets
- Establishing menus and recipes for use by food production personnel
- Conducting training programs for facility staff, clients, patients, and others
- Adhering to food safety and infection control standards
Dietitian Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Dietetic program
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Ability to work independently and with the interdisciplinary team
- Experience in leadership and training
