Recruiter
We are looking for a Recruiter to design and oversee our company’s hiring.
The recruiter will work closely with our team to manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes. To be successful in this role, the recruiter should have experience screening and evaluating candidates and managing staff. The ideal candidate is a team leader who is able to make effective decisions quickly.
Ultimately, the recruiter will manage our recruitment to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our client’s current and future needs.
Responsibilities
· Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g., job application and onboarding processes)
· Account management and report recruiter performance.
· Develop customized recruiting plans for each client.
· Source and recruit candidates per the client’s needs.
· Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
· Implement new sourcing methods (e.g., social recruiting and Boolean searches)
· Research and choose job advertising options.
· Recommend ways to improve our employer brand.
· Coordinate with our clients to forecast future hiring needs.
· Participate in job fairs and career events.
· Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners.
Requirements and skills
· Proven work experience as a recruiter, retail or restaurant manager.
· Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
· Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
· Strong decision-making skills
· Bachelor or Associates degree in Business, Human Resources, or Psychology preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 (higher for industry experience) plus uncapped commission.
