JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN – TOLLESON
A. POSITION PURPOSE:
Performs visual and dimensional inspections on molded and decorated product as well as performs machine audits and generates reports

C. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visual inspection of molded and decorated products including for tear lines, and color
- Control dimensional inspections via monitoring of equipment controls and use of secondary equipment.
- QA test and tool equipment calibration.
- Performs weights and thickness calibration.
- Performs leak and other special tests.
- Computer file updates and general paperwork.
- General cleaning and maintenance of QA lab and equipment.
- Helps train new inspector packers and other QA inspectors.
- Marketing samples and information request procedure.
- Statistical process control procedures.
- Identifies and participates in continuous improvement activities
D. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years inspection experience or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Basic computer skills (word, excel)
- Knowledge of NCR processes required
- Minimum of 2 years inspection experience or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
E. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time while pulling and testing product.
- Vision corrected to 20/30
- Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stay focused from start to end of shift. Good endurance.
