Job Description

Do you like working with your hands and various tools and power tools in creating and fabricating things? This entry-level position allows you to get hands-on with creating equipment used in the plumbing industry. We are currently hiring Plastic Welder/ Fabricator for our client located in Tualatin, Oregon. 

What You’ll Receive as a Plastic Fabricator:

  • Pay:  DAY - $17.00- 20.00/ hr (Depending on experience)
  • Type: Contract to Hire
  • Shift: DAY - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5 days/ 8 hour)
  • Location: Tualatin, Oregon
  • Medical/Dental/Vision
  • Paid Weekly (every Friday)

What You’ll Be Doing as a  Plastic Fabricator:

  • Work on routine assignments under direct supervision, works with trainer(s) to become familiar with most production materials (NPP, WPP, PVC, FM4910, & C-PVC), hand tools, and equipment most commonly used in the plastic fabrication area
  • Learns to use precision measuring equipment
  • Learns to use computer systems/software, and navigate of company’s network
  • Maintain shop equipment, and tools to support production
  • Maintain a clean and orderly and safe work environment
  • Understands the urgency of our industry and is willing to work overtime and/or travel upon short notice to satisfy customer needs
  • Supports management as requested
  • Complies with company policies and procedures

What You’ll Need to Have as a  Plastic Fabricator:

  • High school or GED
  • Experience in Plastic welding/ fabricator is a plus 
  • Experience with hand and power tools/ equipment that are typically used in Plastic Welding/ Fabrication.
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance customer expectations with company policies and procedures
  • Technical skills in having some ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and operate industrial machinery
  • Quality assurance abilities in being able to examine components to ensure specifications were correctly fabricated
  • Must be willing to learn and to be trained
  • Have a safety mindset 
  • Be a team player, dependable, and be reliable
  • Must have excellent communication and organization skills
  • Passing a Drug test (THC included) and Background check
