Job Title: Picker/Packer
Location: Nextaff of Lake County, Lake County, IL

Job Summary:

Nextaff of Lake County is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our team in Lake County, IL. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders to meet client specifications, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a well-organized work area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently pick and pack items according to order requirements and customer instructions.
  • Ensure that packed items are secure and properly labeled for shipping.
  • Conduct quality checks on products to identify and report any issues or damages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory tasks as needed, including stock counts and restocking.
  • Communicate any challenges or discrepancies to team leaders or supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and basic math skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and move in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience and shift.
  • Additional Pay: Opportunities for overtime and performance-based incentives may be available.

Shifts:

  • Multiple shifts are available, including morning, afternoon, and evening. Flexibility is a plus.
