Be knowledgeable about the FOOD product.
Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion in food service channels such as broad liners and wholesalers FOODS INDUSTRY .
Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
Answer questions about the products
Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
 
Our Sales Representative facilitates interaction and business relationships between foodservice operators and Retail Stores. In FOOD INDUSTRY, you will represent D’Gusto Foods products and services. Bringing new customers to our company accelerating market penetration of commercial and non-commercial wholesale business. You will also focus on new account acquisition, developing and supporting customers.
 
Three (3) or more years of previous sales or business experience to include experience or an interest in food business practices and food preparation, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant work experience may be considered.
Travel Requirements: Day travel within the assigned territory in Houston , TX .
Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills ( highly preferred )
Strong customer service skills, growth mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to work on a team.
You must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma / Equivalent (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (preferred)
Successfully pass our pre-employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR (motor vehicle report)
Must maintain a valid, unrestricted state driver’s license and safe driving record per our policy (required)
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver's license within 60 days of employment.
Work requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional trips for food shows and Demos.

Work Location: Our plant is in Brookshire, and we attend all districts of Hoston and Texas state as well.
 
· Day shift Monday to Friday and Saturday or Sunday if we have a Demo or food show.

· Salary: $ 75 – 85 per year (5 – 10K annual commission).
