Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Excellence: Lead from the front, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve their full potential, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, maximize productivity, and drive sustainable growth in the non-ferrous department.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide hands-on supervision and guidance to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the non-ferrous department, overseeing daily activities, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Inventory Management: Implement robust inventory controls and management processes to track incoming materials, monitor stock levels, and optimize inventory turnover and accuracy.
  • Employee Management: Manage all aspects of employee relations, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Technology Utilization: Embrace technology to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, utilizing software systems and digital tools to optimize processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in a metals recycling or related industry, with a track record of success in team management, operations oversight, and strategic planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and driving results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
