Job Description

Nextaff is hiring an experienced Medical Office Specialist to work with our client, a busy and growing primary care medical practice in Naples, FL. As a Medical Office Specialist, you will be answering telephone calls and fielding inquiries from patients regarding scheduling, prescription refills, billing, and other general patient questions and ensuring patient notes are updated. This is a full-time, 6-month temporary assignment, with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule, that has the strong possibility of extension or permanent hire!

What We Need From You:
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a medical office environment
  • You have knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
  • You have experience documenting in and updating patient data in EHR application (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • You are friendly, outgoing, have an excellent telephone presence and enjoy solving problems
  • Background and drug screening required
