Job Description

Nextaff is immediately seeking Medical Assistants! We have positions available in the Bradenton & Lakewood Ranch, FL area with top physician practices. These are full-time contract & contract-to-hire positions with a Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule (no nights or weekends!). As a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of tasks that include checking in patients, recording medical histories, measuring/monitoring vital signs, administering injections, assisting providers with patient exams and procedures, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and front desk coverage.

What We Need From You...

  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office environment; certification preferred
  • Experience with wound care, EKG, administering injections, charting in EMR systems, etc.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • High School diploma (or equivalent), background and drug screening required
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, general medical office procedures and terminology
