Job Description

Maintenance Technician – Full-Time
A growing manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery and equipment in an industrial setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently lead equipment repairs and overhauls are essential.
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of electrical/mechanical experience, preferably with production or packaging equipment
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
  • Familiarity with PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safety protocols
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Google Drive)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime
  • Support production staff through training and technical assistance
  • Set up, adjust, and optimize equipment for maximum efficiency
  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement of maintenance programs
  • Maintain safe and organized workspaces and properly store tools and equipment
  • Track maintenance activities through accurate documentation and reporting systems
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., and carry up to 50 lbs. at shoulder height
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate tight or elevated spaces
  • Comfortable working in a range of temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
