About the Role:
Neither snow, nor rain, nor ill-fitting uniforms shall keep our postal workers from their rounds! That’s where you come in. We're looking for a stitch-savvy, detail-driven Alterations Specialist to tailor uniforms that help our nation’s mail carriers deliver in comfort and style.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✂️ Hemming pants so no one trips while delivering grandma’s birthday card
? Taking in shirts so mail carriers look sharp (but still have room for cookies on their route)
? Repairing rips, fixing zippers, and making sure uniforms are delivery-day ready
? Adjusting for fit and function—rain, snow, or scorching sun
? Managing uniform pieces like a pro—log, track, and return them with love
You Might Be the One If:
? You can tailor a uniform blindfolded (but we prefer you don’t)
? You know your way around industrial sewing machines and heavy-duty fabrics
? You're professional, punctual, and have a soft spot for those who walk miles to bring us mail
? You enjoy turning chaos (piles of pants!) into crisp, clean, fitted perfection
? You’re obsessed with fit and function—and maybe even postal fashion
