We have an immediate opening for a Manual Printer Operator. Successful candidates must have experience with pre-press, layout, and positioning. We offers a competitive wage based on experience, and competitive benefit package.
Responsibilities
· Work with pre-press, layout, and positioning of art.
· Learn operation of production line
· Read work order
· Knowledge of reclaiming screens is a plus
· Knowledge of coating, imaging, building screens is a plus
· Count and prepare orders for production.
· Tape and inking screens
· Rinse and wash screens correctly without losing any detail; wash squeegees and flood bars.
· Mixing/preparing inks for production; cleaning & maintaining ink inventory
· Knowledge of different fabrics and ink requirements
Skills
· Experience with pre-press, layout and positioning.
· One year of experience in automatic/manual screen printing is desired.
· Must be able to lift 40lbs and have the ability to stand for most of the day
· Must be detail oriented, have great attendance and be a dedicated, self-motivated, team player.
