What You Will Receive as Manual Machinist:

  • Starting Wages:  $24.00 - 30.00/hr. (depending on experience)
  • Mon - Thurs: SWING SHIFT (2pm - 12:30am)

What You Will Be Doing as Manual Machinist:

  • You will be setting up and operating Lathes and VMC machines, machining mostly mild steel, with some weldments, aluminum, and cast iron. 

What You Will Need to Have as Manual Machinist:

  • Horizontal boring mill & lathes background
  • Level 1 - need to know basic lathe, mill and basic programming
  • Level 2 -  CAD experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on manual machining experience, or educational / trade school training
  • Ability to use of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, depth micrometer, bore micrometer, and height gauges, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprint, and understand GD&T
  • Fanuc and Haas control panels knowledge
  • Setup fixturing and tooling (including machine offsets)
  • High degree of patience and attention to detail
  • Highly Preferred: Knowledge of hand G-code programming and/or mill and lathe
  • Must be able to follow safety policies and must be willing to wear PPE. All departments are required to wear eye and hearing protection, steel toed boots, and metatarsal guards.
