Job Title: Loader / Manufacturing Production Worker / Material Handler
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Loader, Manufacturing Production Worker, or Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, handling production tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload steel, aluminum, and other metal materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or pallet jacks.
  • Transport materials to designated areas within the facility for processing and distribution.
  • Assist in cutting, shaping, and processing metal products according to customer specifications.
  • Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or damages.
  • Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with company guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and document material movements.
  • Follow all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing, preferably in the metals industry.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic understanding of metal processing operations and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Work Environment & Conditions:
  • Standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to high noise levels, heat, and cold depending on facility conditions.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
  • Potential for shift work, including nights and weekends, based on production needs.
