Laser/ Brake Press Operator

Job Description

CNC Laser, Brake Press, and Welders
Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Shift: 1st and 3rd available- 12 hour shifts

Summary
Currently hiring skilled CNC Laser Operators, Brake Press/Forming Operators, and Welders. These roles support the metal fabrication process from start to finish, including cutting, forming, and welding high-quality parts. If you have strong attention to detail, experience in a manufacturing environment, and pride in producing quality work, we’d love to have you on our team!

*You do not need experience in all three roles; however, you must have solid experience in AT LEAST one of them. All positions REQUIRE prior sheet metal experience. *


CNC Laser Cutter Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up CNC laser cutting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and material specifications
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Required Experience:
  • Previous experience operating CNC laser REQUIRED
  • Previous experience cutting sheet metal REQUIRED
  • Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics
  • Prior experience using hand tools such as calipers and/or micrometers
  • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills

Brake Press Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate brake press machines using correct tooling, programs, and bend sequences
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and bend deduction charts
  • Perform accurate measurements using calipers, tape measures, protractors, and other tools
Required Experience:
  • Prior experience operating a brake press machine REQUIRED
  • Previous experience cutting sheet metal REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of measurements and tolerances


MIG/TIG Welder

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, stainless, or aluminum
  • Read fabrication drawings and follow welding symbols
  • Fit, tack, and assemble components to spec
  • Conduct quality checks on welds and finished parts
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and shop organization
Required Experience:
  • Previous welding experience REQUIRED
  • Prior experience with set-up or in a management position REQUIRED
  • Proven experience in MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols
  • Strong understanding of weld quality, joint preparation, and proper heat control
