Nextaff of Overland Park is currently seeking the addition of a general laborer to our staff in Kansas City, KS. If you have mechanical abilities, are a quick learner and are determined to succeed, we may be the right opportunity for you. All work is performed within our facility with no travel required or exposure to the customers. Nextaff of Overland Park is searching for a Shop Porter to support co-workers and management. They would be working both indoors and outdoors in a type of weather.
Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $20.00-23.00 per hour

- Schedule: 8 hour shift
- Day Shift Monday-Friday
Tools:
- HVAC tools and equipment are provided.
- Basic hand tools are employee’s responsibility.
Duties would include, but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading trucks (forklift experience)
- Collaborating with office staff
- Cleaning, moving, and disassembling locomotive parts as needed.
- General cleaning of the building/lot
- Building maintenance as needed/minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Perform all additional general duties as assigned.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, lifting 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time, communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Working with hand/power tools a plus.
