Janitor / Office Cleaning Worker
Location: 290 and Telge and Sugarland 
Job Type: Part-Time                           Pay: $13 - 15 per hour
Schedule: Evenings, or weekends depending on client needs
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor / Office Cleaning Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in an office facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, pays attention to detail, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Clean and maintain offices, common areas, break rooms, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
  2. Dust and wipe down desks, tables, countertops, and other surfaces.
  3. Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
  4. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
  5. Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
  6. Replenish restroom and office supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
  7. Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  8. Report maintenance issues, damage, spills, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  9. Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required. 
  2. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage assigned cleaning tasks.
  4. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  5. Ability to safely use common cleaning products and equipment.
  6. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to approximately 25–50 lbs.
  7. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  8. Reliable transportation and driver license.
  9. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies and equipment. The employee must be able to perform routine cleaning activities for extended periods.
