Pediatric Medical Assistant (Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Sarasota, FL
Pay: $19–$21 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (No nights or weekends)

Join a busy, patient-focused pediatric medical practice where your experience working with children and families will make a direct impact every day. We are seeking a Medical Assistant with hands-on experience who is comfortable supporting providers in a fast-paced, child-focused environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential after successful completion of your assignment.

What You’ll Do
  • Room pediatric patients and assist providers during exams
  • Collect patient history and record vital signs (pediatric-specific considerations)
  • Perform clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, PFTs, and screenings
  • Assist with specimen collection and patient preparation
  • Provide age-appropriate patient support and comfort during visits
  • Document accurately in EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Educate parents and caregivers on care instructions and follow-up
  • Support front office functions including check-in, check-out, scheduling, and phones
  • Coordinate medical records, labs, referrals, and documentation
  • Maintain organized, compliant, and patient-centered workflow

What We’re Looking For
  • Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent training
  • Experience working in a pediatric setting
  • 1–4+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on pediatric patient care
  • Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and caregivers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric environment
