What you will receive as a Dispatcher:
- Starting Pay: $23- $25/hr (depending on experience)
- Shift: Monday - Friday : 8am to 5pm (occasional OT as needed)
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Available
- Contract-to-Hire
- Located in Wilsonville, Oregon
- Paid weekly (every Friday)
What you will be doing as a Dispatcher:
- Assign, plan, and dispatch drivers/contractors, working closely with management and Operations team(s);
- Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain the goals of Berger;
- Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities;
- Maintain data integrity to ensure that accurate information is available for internal and external customers;
- Oversee contractor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery;
- Coordinate directly with the client and customer base on the phone/via email/via text software programs to ensure an above-average customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to have as a Dispatcher:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- Previous Dispatch experience is required (Must have a minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience within the trucking industry)
- Previous experience in the final mile/last mile/3PL Industry is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced, constantly changing, high-demand work environment.
- Proficient in email and Microsoft Office software, with the ability to utilize multiple software programs.
- Flexibility in terms of work schedule is required as dispatching workload can vary on a case-by-case basis.
- Ability to work well with a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, Strong problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Robust geographical knowledge- of the PNW region.
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
