Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the production of hybrid power shelters and ZPMs, ensuring that quality standards are met, production targets are achieved, and schedules are followed.
  • Develop and implement production strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste, using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Manage and mentor production staff to ensure that they are motivated and productive.
  • Ensure that all production processes adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Work with other departments to coordinate production schedules and ensure that materials and resources are available when needed.
  • Manage the Procurement department to ensure that materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company is getting the best value for its money, with a particular emphasis on vendor management and price negotiation skills.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that production has the necessary materials to meet demand.
  • Continuously analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary, with a focus on lean manufacturing principles.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance and present them to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in hardware manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing production teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and production best practices.
  • Experience managing procurement functions, including sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management, with a particular emphasis on vendor management and price negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and production planning tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them in a production environment.
