Director of Human Resources Responsibilities:
  • Complies with Federal, State, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation. Responsible for compliance with Federal, State, and local legislation pertaining to personnel matters.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations to senior management for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters. Updates the Employee Handbook, Operations Manual, Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), and Safety Manual, as necessary.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Administers policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with agency objectives and legal requirements. Communicates changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures to ensure implementation and compliance.
  • Manages human resources operations including recruiting, orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing the organization’s human resources needs; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; and implementing change.
 
Director of Human Resources Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience required in human resources management in a diverse organization with more than 100 employees.
  • HRIS implementation experience preferred.

Basketball! I was fortunate enough to play college basketball all 4 years and in 2013 we won the NCAA DII National Championship.

Orange! Yes, it is one of Nextaff s main colors but it was my favorite before coming to Nextaff. In the franchising world, I m known as Orange pants guy .
