Per Diem Dental Hygienists needed in Florida! 
Pay is $48 an hour
Position Summary: 
  1. Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. 
  2. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. 
  3. Handles a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. These duties range incomplexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  2. Apply fluoride and protective sealants.
  3. Removal of calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
  4. Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.Record and review patient medical histories.
  5. Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA.
  6. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  7. Order and keep track of inventory as needed
  8. Other duties as assigned.
 
Work Environment:
  1. This job operates in a medical/clinical environment.
  2. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones.
  3. This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment.
  4. Employees must wear gloves, masks, protective eye wear, and clothing to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease.
  5. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; stand and/or sit for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  6. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
  7. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks, which will require OSHA training.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. CPR certified
 
Experience:
  1. Dental Hygienist in the US: 1 year (Required)
 
Required Education/Certification:
  1. Licensed Dental Hygienist (Required)
  2. CPR Certification (Required)
  3. Radiography Certification OR a signed letter from a dentist you've worked with stating you are proficient in Radiology OR a transcript showing the radiography education from your Dental Hygiene program.
  4. High School Diploma- If you graduated in the US then we will need the high school's name, city/state, graduation month/year listed on your resume. If you did not graduate high school in the States, then we MUST HAVE your high school information OR a higher education degree, but it must be an associate’s or higher(no vocational or certification education in lieu of a high school diploma)
