Your Role & Responsibilities 
As a Dental Hygienist, you will deliver high-quality preventative care, patient education, and clinical support to ensure positive outcomes and long-term oral health. 
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing and flossing
• Administer fluoride treatments and assist dentists in developing care plans 
• Perform teeth prophylaxis and remove calcified deposits 
• Take and process dental radiographs accurately 
• Maintain an effective recall system and contact hygiene patients as needed 
• Participate in community fluoride and oral health education programs (e.g., school visits) 
• Document services provided and develop individual hygiene plans for patients 
• Assist the dentist with procedures as needed and perform additional duties as assigned 
• Maintain up-to-date patient charts and follow infection control protocols 
• Uphold clinic values and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures 

What You Bring to the Table 
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene – Required 
• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Mississippi – Required 
• Experience as a dental hygienist – Preferred 
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and dentists 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently 
• Passion for community health and patient education 
• Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday 
• Ability to travel locally for community programs as needed
