Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Cost Accountant, you’ll be embedded in the operations of a dynamic manufacturing setting, providing critical financial insights and ensuring accuracy in every stage of production and reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets and profit & loss reports
  • Perform cost accounting functions including build material costing and inventory analysis
  • Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Support monthly close processes, tax filings, and financial reporting
  • Accurately account for direct costs through accruals, reconciliations, and cost allocations
  • Collaborate with product development to establish cost standards for manufactured products
  • Conduct weekly/monthly allocations of labor and materials
  • Track project costs, budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis
  • Reconcile inventory with the general ledger and perform routine inventory reviews
What You Bring to the Table
  • 2+ years of accounting experience – Manufacturing required
  • Strong background in cost accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems – Preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills – Power BI a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently
