In this critical role, you will unload floor-loaded containers of various products, often heavy and weighing up to 50+ lbs. Key Responsibilities
- Rapid and safe unloading of floor-loaded containers, including products weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Operate handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Accurate counting and documentation of unloaded inventory.
- Inspection of goods for defects or damages, with discrepancies reported promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or similar physical roles preferred.
- Must be able to lift and handle heavy objects, some weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills to work effectively in a team setting.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Forklift certification a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
