Job Description

Nextaff is seeking a Clinical Dietician (local or travel) located on the west central coast of Florida!

Overview:
In today’s health-conscious society, Clinical Dietitians play a vital role in improving patient outcomes through expert nutritional care. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and evidence-driven Clinical Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team located on the west central coast of Florida.  This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient lives by providing high-quality, personalized nutrition therapy in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in medical records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on dietary modifications and nutrition
  • Provide expertise on specialized diets (e.g., allergen-free, low-sodium)
  • Participate in clinical rounds, patient case conferences, and interdisciplinary planning
  • Counsel patients on managing chronic diseases through diet
  • Supervise and mentor dietetic interns or nutrition staff, as needed
  • Engage in public health and community nutrition education initiatives
  • Stay current with the latest research and clinical practices in dietetics
  • Contribute to administrative tasks related to clinical nutrition services

Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Proficiency in clinical nutrition, dietetics, and EMR systems
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
    • 8 hr shifts 8:30 to 5pm 
  • Preferred:
    • 2 years' experience in a clinical or hospital setting
    • Bilingual abilities
    • Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
