CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem (Available)

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Operate CT scanners and/or digital X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications
Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
  • ARRT Certification (Radiography).
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
For CT Technologist Applicants
  • ARRT (CT) Certification.
  • Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred.
  • Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
For Radiologic Technologist Applicants
  • Experience in outpatient imaging, urgent care, or hospital settings preferred.
  • Fluoroscopy Permit (if applicable).
Schedule
Flexible scheduling options may include:
