Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Drafter to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in drafting within the landscaping or construction industry. The Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and plans that translate design concepts into actionable blueprints for construction.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to understand project requirements, objectives, and design intent.
  2. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings, including site plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
  3. Interpret and translate conceptual designs into practical and feasible construction documents while adhering to project specifications and timelines.
  4. Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  6. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists, schedules, and specifications.
  7. Coordinate with project teams to facilitate seamless communication and workflow throughout the design and construction process.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape design and drafting.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in drafting, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience working as a Drafter, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
  3. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to landscape architecture and construction.
  7. Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in design.
