What You Will Receive as a CNC Burn Table Operator:
 
  • Starting Wages:  $22.00 – 24.00/hr. (depending on experience)
  • Mon-Fri: DAY SHIFT (6:00 AM - 2:30 pm)

What You Will Be Doing as a CNC Burn Table Operator:
 
  • Set up and program burn table equipment according to job specifications.
  • Load materials onto the burn table and secure them in place.
  • Operate overhead and jib cranes
  • Monitor the cutting process to ensure precision and quality of cuts.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot burn table equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including plate dimensions and quality inspections.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of plates before and after deburring to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize hazards.

What You’ll Need to Have as a CNC Burn Table Operator:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication environment
  • Must be familiar with the safe operation of overhead and jib cranes and forklifts
  • Must have good knowledge of plate handling techniques involving thickness of 16 gauge 
  • Must have good computer and organization skills
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and cutting processes is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints 
  • Ability to lift and move heavy material (thick metals)
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work
  • Good communication skills for working in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work in outdoor or shop environment. 
  • Must be resilient to working in adverse climatic conditions.
