Automotive Accounting Clerk

Job Description

We are excited to offer a position that provides a unique opportunity to grow your career while gaining valuable experience in the automotive leasing industry. This role was designed to support an experienced team member by taking on part of their responsibilities, with plenty of room to learn and expand as you develop your skills.

You do not need previous automotive experience — just a strong foundation in accounting or accounts payable and a willingness to learn. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of processes, from payables and general ledger work to insurance verification and collections.

What You’ll Do:
  • Learn how repair orders flow into accounting systems and ensure accurate processing.
  • Manage and process accounts payable for multiple locations.
  • Assist with balancing, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Verify insurance information and maintain accurate records.
  • Support collections efforts, including payment follow-ups and coordinating repossessions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the service, sales, and administrative teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Strong foundation in accounting or accounts payable (1+ years preferred).

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
