What You’ll Be Doing
  • Planning and performing operational and financial audits
  • Working on Excel, Word, and other related audit software programs
  • Identifying business process risks
  • Developing testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls
  • Documenting the results of the evaluations
  • Developing recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to senior management
  • Formulating professional development and educational plans for junior staff members
  • Planning and allocating resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules
  • Work on and learn different industries such as Agriculture, Wineries, Airlines, Anti-trust, trade regulations, Employee Benefits Plan, Financial Services, Lost Earnings, Media, Entertainment, Sports, SAS 70/Internal Control, Tech/Internet, White-collar crime/Criminal Defense, Venture Capital and Investment Funds, and more 
What You’ll Need to Have
  • BA/BS in Business Administration (Accounting) or Accountancy
  • 5-10 years of public tax experience
  • CPA License for Oregon
  • Understanding of GAAP guidelines and AICPA engagement standards
  • Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques
  • Prior success conducting external or internal audits
  • Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
