Job Summary:
Nextaff of Lake County is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a strong background in administrative support, QuickBooks, billing, and proficiency in preparing reports using Microsoft Excel and Word. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to reliability and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Handle QuickBooks tasks, including billing, invoicing, and financial data management.
  • Prepare accurate and professional reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation and filing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, and team members in a professional manner.
  • Provide support for special projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and take initiative to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
    • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and billing processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create and format professional reports.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Positive attitude, dependable, and professional demeanor.
  • Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or bookkeeping are a plus.
    • Reliable transportation and availability during standard office hours.
