Accounts Payable Specialist
QuickBooks Expertise | Full-Time | Onsite Only

? Location: Onsite – Ocean Springs, MS
? Pay: $18–$21/hour (Based on Experience)
? Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time Hours

What You’ll Do

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing AP processes and supporting audit preparations under the guidance of the Director. While no audit experience is required, you must bring strong knowledge of QuickBooks and the ability to handle AP duties with minimal training.

Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently in QuickBooks
Communicate with vendors and manage payment timelines
Organize and maintain financial documentation and vendor records
Assist with preparing documentation for external audits
Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls
Collaborate with internal teams as needed while maintaining confidentiality
Learn and adapt to additional internal systems (training provided for non-AP platforms)

What We’re Looking For

✅ Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
✅ QuickBooks proficiency is required (and will be assessed)
✅ Ability to manage AP independently without need for training
✅ High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
✅ Strong understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail
✅ Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
✅ Ability to work onsite full-time and communicate clearly with team members
