What You’ll Be Doing as a Sandblaster:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or other finishing processes of manufactured Products such as Winch, Log stackers, Chip Dozers, Marine Cranes, Long Reach Forklift Attachments, and Balers.
  • Operate sandblasting equipment, including sandblasting guns, air compressors, and related tools.
  • Utilize various abrasive materials to remove paint, rust, and other debris from surfaces.
  • Preparing blasting equipment for use by checking fluid levels and replacing worn parts
  • Understand the rework process and correct errors as needed
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to protect personal and team members' safety during sandblasting operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and dispose of blasting materials and waste properly.
What You’ll Need to Have as a Sandblaster:

  • Proven experience as a Sandblaster or similar role
  • Proficient knowledge of sandblasting techniques, equipment, and abrasive materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise sandblasting work.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a Physical and a Respirator fitting (expense covered by company)
  • Must be able to follow safety policies and must be willing to wear PPE. All departments are required to wear eye and hearing protection, steel toed boots, and metatarsal guards.
