Job Purpose:
  • Work with the Maintenance, Operations and Projects Departments to ensure various types of electrical equipment and configurations are properly functioning and maintained. Work’s with other crews, companies or individuals to ensure that the electrical and instrumentation is up to NEC code and Silver Eagles Refining standards. Will require travel to our Evanston, WY SER location if needed.
Principle Accountabilities:
  • Ensure that all Electrical and Instrumentation needs at the refinery are met. This will include troubleshooting, removing, repairing and re-installing various types of electrical equipment at both SER facilities (WX/EV).
  • Installs electrical circuits and control’s to exceed Silver Eagle Refining needs and standards, installing, repairing or modifying electrical and instruments as needed.
Key Challenges:
  • Ability to work with Him/ herself or with a crew to problem solve as needed by the refinery.
  • Works safely around multiple AC/DC voltages.
  • Ability to wire and troubleshoot power and control circuits.
  • Maintain state electrical certifications.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and P&ID drawings
  • Assure proper installation is installed for long term reliability and safety.
  • Being involved and knowledgeable of Silver Eagle Refining’s needs and standards for all electrical and instrumentation for all refining units and/or areas.
  • Assist in general maintenance as requested.
Job Skills & Requirements Will Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Technical certification in Electrical or 1 year of direct application experience.
  • Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
  • In possession of a valid state driver’s license.
  • Has a working knowledge of the NEC Code.
  • Has a safe working ability to complete task in a timely manner.
