Customer Support/Sales Support Specialist

The client is a successful 65 year old company which is 100% employee owned and are in the top three in their industry. Their growth over the last few years is in the 5-10% range annually.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable, extroverted self-starter who is determined to succeed and help the company to continue to grow and grow our customer business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Dedicated Customer Support/Sales Support Specialist will include:
Establish lasting relationships with customers and retain existing and new customers within their region.
Provide high quality service to customers and solve customer issues in a timely manner
Maintain customer data including contact information, product information, and demographic information using Excel spread sheets and ACT database.
Represent the Company with integrity and distinguished customer service.
Meet administrative standards for reporting and other standards

Job Requirements:
The Dedicated Customer Support/Sales Support Specialist will require a motivated personality with a demonstrated ability to provide consultative service and enhance the customer experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in business customer service
Proficient in establishing and maintaining customer relationships
Ability to work in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Outstanding organization and attention to detail
A Strong work ethic and above average attendance record
Expert skills in MS Excel and Outlook and the ability to quickly learn and use other software
Ability to comprehend pricing and marketing strategies
Prior use of ACT or a similar program is a plus
Freight knowledge or experience is a plus
This position will work Mon - Fri from 8am 5pm
