We’re hiring a corporate Controller to work alongside the CFO as we expand our finance organization. The Controller will be responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting operations, with the unique opportunity to help create a modern finance operation from the ground up.

The Controller will have corporate accounting experience, including experience with GAAP reporting. Responsibilities will include the management of tax and accounting activities, financial reporting, and participation in FP&A and broader strategic financial initiatives.

Things you will work on:

Compile quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring general compliance

Support quarterly earnings reports

Spearhead the implementation of efficient financial reporting software and procedures

Support FP&A, strategy, and operations planning

Lead team efforts for cash management and A/P+A/R

Manage the quarterly and annual audit process

Develop appropriate tax strategies and manage annual tax process

Establish and report relevant financial performance benchmarks

Help build the finance/accounting team through recruiting and hiring

Requirements:

B.A./B.S. in accounting or finance required

CPA preferred

Minimum 7 years corporate accounting experience

Experience with relevant accounting, finance, accounts payable/receivable software and methods
