Nextaff of Sarasota is hiring Certified Medical Assistants to join our talent pool. Whether seeking a new full or part-time position or would like to be able to work temporary assignments with our clients when they are available, becoming part of the Nextaff Team is a great way to connect with top healthcare providers in the area! As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with Nextaff, you will have the chance to work with our medical office clients in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice/North Port area and be responsible for a variety of patient care duties including assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. These duties may include interviewing patients, documenting medical histories, measuring vital signs, venipuncture/administering injections, preparing & maintaining treatment rooms, entering patient data into EMR system and assisting in front desk coverage...in other words, you will be an important touchpoint for patients!

What We Need From You...
  • Medical Assistant certification and at least 1 year of experience as a CMA; experience with venipuncture, administering injections, EKG and patient check-in/out procedures is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Able to pass a Level 2 Florida background screening.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • You have experience using EMR systems, are familiar with general medical office procedures and medical terminology.
  • You are laser-focused on details and have lots of stories about providing great customer or patient experiences.
