What You Will Receive as Assembly Mechanic:

  • Starting Wages: $22.00 – $24.00/hr. (up to $26.00 for a good mechanic with tools)
  • Mon - Fri: DAY SHIFT (6:00am - 2:30pm)

What You Will Be Doing as Assembly Mechanic:

  • Build, assemble, install, and repair several product lines such as Winch, Logstackers, Chip Dozers, Marine Cranes, Long Reach Forklift Attachments, and Balers.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembling products.
  • Installs assemblies in supportive framework according to blueprints.
  • Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications.
  • Ability to adapt and work on other product lines as necessary.
  • Willing to work on special projects as specified by supervisor. 
  • Must have their own set of tools, including but not limited to, 3/8 and ½” drive socket wrenches, open-end wrenches up to 2”, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, hammers, pliers, tri square, nut drivers, off-set wrenches, die grinder, impacts, etc. 
  • Ability to rig loads with chains and ropes. 
  • Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers, to cut, bend, block and form, or straighten materials.
  • Shapes metal material over anvil, block, or other form.
  • Bolts, rivets, screws, clips, caulks, or bond component parts to assemble products.
 
What You Will Need to Have as Assembly Mechanic:

  • At least 1 year of experience installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or product specifications.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical components is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with a self-starter attitude 
  • Ability to rig loads with jib cranes, chains, ropes, and overhead cranes.
  • GED, High School Diploma or Trade School.
  • Have own tools is nice to have, BUT NOT necessary
  • Ability to adapt and work across multiple product lines as necessary.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to follow safety policies and must be willing to wear PPE (All departments are required to wear eye and hearing protection, steel toed boots, and metatarsal) 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
